Club Door Manager - NYX

Location: Gasteiz / Vitoria

Fundamental Hospitality is looking for an experienced Club Door Manager to join the team at NYX Marbella, our high-energy nightlife concept in Marbella, Spain.

The Club Door Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the entrance and door, ensuring a smooth and professional guest experience while maintaining the standards and atmosphere of the venue.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the door operation throughout service, ensuring an organised and efficient guest flow.

Manage and coordinate the door team, ensuring high standards of professionalism, presentation, and guest interaction.

Oversee guest entry, reservations, guest lists, VIP arrivals, and priority access in line with venue policies.

Build strong relationships with VIP guests, regular clientele, promoters, and key contacts.

Ensure guests receive a warm, professional, and consistent welcome while maintaining the positioning and standards of the venue.

Work closely with the reservations, host, security, and management teams to coordinate arrivals and manage capacity effectively.

Handle guest enquiries, challenging situations, and complaints at the door with confidence, discretion, and professionalism.

Maintain strong communication with the wider management team throughout the night regarding guest flow, capacity, VIP arrivals, and any operational issues.

Ensure all door procedures comply with venue policies, licensing requirements, and local regulations.

Monitor the overall presentation and organization of the entrance area throughout service.

Support the management team with peak nights, special events, guest appearances, and high-profile occasions.

Maintain a strong understanding of the local nightlife scene, clientele, and guest expectations in Marbella.

Requirements Previous experience in a similar role within high-end nightlife concepts.

Fluent English required;
Spanish strongly preferred (additional languages a plus).Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Strong understanding of nightlife operations and VIP service.

Ability to work late nights, weekends, and peak season schedules.

Legal right to work in Spain.

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a confident and personable hospitality professional who understands the importance of the door in creating the first impression of a venue. You should be comfortable managing a busy entrance, dealing with a high-profile clientele, leading a team, and making decisions calmly in a fast-paced nightlife environment.

Experience with in luxury nightlife, high-end clubs, premium hospitality, or similar high-volume venues in Marbella or other international nightlife destinations would be highly valued.
