Puesto: Medical Scientific Liaison – Zona Noreste (Respiratory/immunology – Biologics) (Bellprat)
Location: Bellprat

Job Purpose  Through in‑field scientific engagement with healthcare providers and external experts in respiratory diseases, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) fosters a more educated healthcare environment by communicating deep knowledge of GSK data in biologic therapies, ensuring evidence‑based understanding of the science behind GSK medicines, and gathering valuable insights on GSK products, competitor biologics, and medical and scientific information. These insights help better understand patient needs, evidence gaps, and inform medical strategy.

Key Responsibilities   Conduct one‑to‑one scientific dialogues with external experts and key healthcare professionals about GSK’s biologic therapies in respiratory diseases, enabling them to discuss our portfolio confidently with patients and the wider medical community.
Act as an expert speaker at scientific events and meetings to disseminate information to larger groups of healthcare providers and stimulate clinical dialogue.
Serve as the interface between the professional healthcare community and GSK’s internal medical team to bring value‑added insights that inform Medical, Commercial, and Research & Development activities, especially for launch execution.
Capture and use medical insights effectively to support strategy and business plans.
Respond to unsolicited requests for Medical Information from healthcare providers in a fair, factual, balanced, and scientifically rigorous manner through the preferred channel.
Collaborate with Medical Representatives and Commercial colleagues, fostering a collaborative working relationship.
Partner with matrix colleagues (e.g., sales, marketing, market access) to ensure patient‑ and business‑focused strategies that add value to external experts.
Contribute to launch plans from a medical perspective by providing insights and aligning scientific activities with launch objectives.
Partner with Clin Ops to establish early scientific relationships in research with investigators and bring quality insights that shape future development for patient benefit.
Provide scientific education and training for business partners such as Medical Representatives, acting as the local scientific expert for a biologic medicine or group of biologic medicines in respiratory diseases.
Maintain expertise in the evolving scientific/therapeutic area and competitor medicines, particularly in a competitive launch environment.
Attend scientific meetings and congresses to stay abreast of evolving science, confidently debate, and discuss science with external experts, identifying key messages and opportunities to improve medical strategy.
Knowledge / Education / Previous Experience Required   Higher degree in life sciences (PhD, MSc, or equivalent).
Professional healthcare provider qualification with experience (e.g., nurse practitioner, physician, surgeon, physiotherapist, or pharmacist).
At least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs, working with biologic treatments.
Strong academic background with participation in or leadership of research projects and authorship of publications.
Solid experience as an MSL or related position in medical affairs at the product launch stage.
Demonstrable experience in scientific engagement with external experts (KOLs) and managing long‑term relationships in respiratory diseases or related areas.
Residence in Catalonia.

Salary and Benefits   Annual gross base salary range: EUR
69,675toEUR
116,125.
Potential annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program, dependent on the level of the role.

Salary ranges for other locations are also shown to comply with pay transparency laws where applicable.
