Transport Operations & Analytics Specialist
About the Role
Massimo Dutti is looking for a   highly analytical and detail-oriented Transport Operations & Analytics Specialist   to oversee and optimize our   global e-commerce logistics operations   . Reporting to the Global E-Commerce Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for monitoring delivery performance, optimizing transportation lead times, and improving return processes. The ideal candidate has a   data-driven mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in logistics and e-commerce transportation management.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery Performance & Logistics Optimization
Monitor and improve   delivery times, return processes, and quality KPIs   , identifying areas for operational enhancement.
Proactively   analyze courier performance   , recommending changes or adjustments to enhance service levels.
Analyze   customer service inquiries   related to e-commerce logistics (e.g., stock shortages, quality incidents) and develop action plans to reduce issue frequency.
Track   monthly delivery times by market and service type   , identifying misalignments between website delivery promises and actual lead times from warehouses and couriers.
Configure lead times in various   logistics systems   to ensure accurate estimated delivery dates for customers.
Continuously analyze and   improve return processes   , ensuring   efficient handling   to minimize delays.
Data Analysis & KPI Management
Monitor and   evaluate key logistics performance indicators (KPIs)  , including:
On-time delivery rates   by country and service type
Stock availability & fulfillment rates
Late shipments & delayed returns
Identify trends and propose   data-driven strategies   to improve logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
Lead   cross-functional initiatives   with internal teams (Operations, IT, Customer Service) to drive logistics improvements.
Identify and document   best practices   in transport operations within the industry and across the Inditex group.
Work closely with the   IT department   to   lead and implement logistics technology projects   that enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure   cost control   of the global courier network, aligning expenses with budget targets.
Analyze   budget deviations   and propose   cost-saving measures   in transport operations.
New Market & Expansion Support
Support the implementation of   new transport operations   aligned with global expansion strategies.
Coordinate logistics   process adaptations   for new market entries, ensuring operational excellence.

Key Qualifications
8+ years of experience   in transportation, logistics, or e-commerce operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Operations Management), Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
Specialized training in   Supply Chain, International Trade, or E-Commerce   is highly valued.
Advanced proficiency in English   (Spanish is a must).
Advanced proficiency Python.
Strong   analytical and data-driven mindset   , with experience handling   large datasets   and drawing actionable insights.
Excellent   problem-solving skills   , with the ability to anticipate operational challenges and implement proactive solutions.
Strong   cross-functional collaboration skills   , with experience coordinating with corporate and external partners.
Ability to work independently, with   a proactive approach to continuous improvement   .
