Medical Scientific Liaison – Respiratory Area (COPD biologics)

Job Purpose:

The role reports to the Medical Lead in the General Medicines area and focuses on field‑based scientific engagement with healthcare providers and external experts to foster a more educated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities   Communicate deep knowledge of GSK data in the context of overall patient care to ensure evidence‑based understanding of the science behind GSK medicines in the area of expertise.
Identify and segment external experts within the therapeutic area under responsibility.
Gather valuable insights on GSK products and services, and on medical and scientific information, to better understand patient needs and evidence gaps.
Implement medical strategy through medical projects including disease awareness, medical education, advisory boards, with external experts.
Execute effective medical plans and integrated evidence plans with the team.
Collaborate closely with market access, marketing, and sales force to provide input into medical strategic direction in the short, medium, and long term.
Basic Qualifications and Skills   MD, Pharmacist, PhD, and other life‑sciences or equivalent qualifications.
Relevant experience as an MSL in a role successfully engaging in scientific exchange with external experts.
Competencies including communication skills, project management, clinical research insights, business, and market knowledge.
Key cross‑functional collaboration with local and regional medical and commercial key teams.
English, verbatim and written communication skills.
Availability for travel; work area:
Cataluña.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills   Residence preferred in Cataluña.
Catalan, verbal and written communication skills.
Salary  Spanish Salary Range / Rango salarial en España: EUR
69,675 to EUR
116,125. The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. Eligibility for an annual bonus and participation in a share‑based long‑term incentive program may also be offered.
