Field Service Technician

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to provide enterprise-level support to customers. An ideal technical support engineer/ technician resume should address their ability to research, diagnose, troubleshooting, and resolve the issues to the clients' satisfaction. Ensuring all assigned assembly tasks are completed with compliance to quality, schedule and budget requirements within company goals to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.
What You'll Do
Diagnose, troubleshooting, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues understanding from customers about the issues they are facing in a detailed fashion.
In charge and responsible of machine assembly, panels assembly, wiring, pneumatics routing and cable management.
Consult with vision and automation programmer if there is any issue on programming on the machine at customer place.
Responsible of tool testing and alignment for machine optimum operation.
Responsible for machine data collection for buy-off or verification purposes as per request by customer.
Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Provide training to clients for newly installed equipment and additional requests for training from clients for their new staff.
Ability to be self-direct on projects and tasks and the ability to provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
Report project status on timely manner and attend meetings with customers or Pentamaster team when necessary.
What You'll Need
Diploma or Certificate Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or Manufacturing or Industrial Technology.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the automation field, able to work independently without supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical skills in machine mechanical and electrical, working knowledge in machine assembly process.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting mechanical drawing and electrical schematics.
Willing to travel to customers' sites in Mexico for commissioning the equipment.
Willing to travel to the headquarters in Malaysia for learning the new equipment functionalities and the methods of integration.
