Role Overview

Sandoz continues to undergo a transformative period as a global leader in sustainable biosimilar and generic medicines. As the Head of Supply Chain for Iberia, you will provide leadership to the Iberia organization in the Supply Chain and Logistics function, overseeing sub‑processes such as S&BP, Demand Planning, Direct Purchasing, CTC, Inventory Management, Order Processing, Reverse Logistics, Customer Service, and Product Life Cycle.

Your goal is to deliver improved performance through innovation, business re‑engineering, and continuous improvement.

• Contribute to strategic decision‑making (IBE, TGT, and LF) and ensure timely availability of Supply Chain and Customer Service resources.
• Manage functional expenses, ensuring full alignment with approved financial targets.
• Define, implement, and monitor Customer Service KPIs and drive corrective actions to support growth and loyalty.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Warehousing, Distribution, and Product Life Cycle.
• Optimize end‑to‑end information and material flows to achieve the highest service level at minimum cost and maximum operational efficiency.
• Lead the Supply Review within the S&BP cycle, integrating cross‑functional inputs, analyzing KPIs, identifying demand‑supply gaps, assessing 3‑ to 24‑month supply risks, defining mitigation actions, and preparing an executive one‑page summary for the M .
• Actively participate in the M , ensuring deviations are analyzed and mitigated, consensus is reached on forecast, and product life‑cycle constraints are managed and escalated.
• Own the preparation, maintenance, and accuracy of product forecasts (excluding Hospital, Bio, and launch products) and deliver robust 3‑year projections within defined KPI targets.
• Coordinate supply planning, inventory flows, storage, and distribution to meet Customer Service at the lowest possible total cost while meeting GMP/GDP requirements.
• Drive operational excellence and team development, coordinate Business Continuity Planning (BCP), support launch strategies and first‑to‑market execution, collaborate cross‑functionally, deliver timely reporting, and develop talent in line with the company’s vision and strategy.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy, Science or Commerce logistics and computer studies (valued).
• At least 8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain functions.
• Team leadership experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or food & beverages industry desired.
• Fluent Spanish and English;
  Portuguese valued.

Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Starting salary is aligned with the market median and ranges from lower to higher ends based on functional depth and performance. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.
