Job Description
We are looking for an International Purchasing and Operations Coordinator to be responsible for material procurement, inventory management, and workshop operations coordination.
This role plays a key part in ensuring material availability, a smooth workflow, and on-time delivery in a company specialized in assembling compressors for industrial vehicles.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with different departments, ensuring the efficient end-to-end operation of processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesInternational Purchasing
- Manage orders with international suppliers and factories
- Monitor delivery timelines and handle incidents
- Coordinate manual and automated orders
- Record and update orders in SAP
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and forecast needs
- Record inventory movements in SAP
- Perform periodic stock counts
- Coordinate with the workshop to ensure material availability
Workshop Operations
- Create and track Work Orders in SAP/FSL
- Validate workshop job sheets
- Coordinate daily with the workshop to ensure proper planning and execution
- Track progress of work orders and resolve operational issues
- Prepare orders for invoicing (Ready for PO)
Internal Coordination
- Maintain constant communication with workshop, administration, billing, and sales teams
- Identify and resolve operational issues
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Prepare weekly reports (purchasing, inventory, workshop activity)
- Analyze operational data
- Propose improvements to optimize processes and efficiency
- Professional level of English (minimum B2)
- Experience in purchasing, logistics, or operations
- Advanced SAP skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the industrial or automotive sector
- Experience with international suppliers
- Experience in operational or workshop environments
