PhD: Time Resolved THz Spectroscopy Semiconductors

Responsibilities

• Characterize by time resolved THz spectroscopy (TRTS) and THz time domain spectroscopy (THz‑TDS) semiconductor samples.
• Lead the analysis of data and the preparation of manuscripts.
• Present the results in conferences.

• Qualifications:
  
  BSc + MSc (physics, materials science or alike)
• Prior experience in ultrafast spectroscopy is a plus.
• Prior experience in THz spectroscopy is a plus.
• Knowledge in electrical characterization will be valuable.
• Programming skills will be evaluated positively.
• Communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Ability to work in an international team, flexibility, and adaptability to handle multiple tasks.

• Contract duration: ~1 year initially (possible extension up to 4 years).
• Annual gross salary: will correspond to the standards of IMDEA Nanociencia for PhD students.
