Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Spain.
This role will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and reporting of a portfolio of entities, primarily focused on project SPVs under development, as well as one operational entity (Asset Management).

The position offers exposure to a dynamic and international environment, with the opportunity to progressively take on more complex structures, including holding entities in other jurisdictions.
The role will work closely with the Financial Reporting team and other internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality financial information and supporting the company’s growth

Responsibilities
Full ownership of accounting for assigned entities (primarily project SPVs under development and Asset Management)
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals.
Prepare and review financial statements under local GAAP (PGC) and US GAAP
Prepare monthly reporting packages and variance analysis with supporting explanations
Monitor and analyze project-related transactions, including development costs and intercompany flows
Perform bank reconciliations and cash monitoring, ensuring accuracy of balances and movements
Support cash flow preparation and analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements, including coordination with external advisors
Act as a key point of contact for auditors, preparing supporting documentation and responding to queries
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in line with audit requirements
Coordinate with internal departments (Project Finance, Legal, Treasury, etc.)
Support the improvement of accounting processes and controls.

Job requirements:

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar
4–6 years of experience in accounting (ideally in audit or multinational environments)
Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC); exposure to US GAAP is a plus
Strong Excel skills (Microsoft 365)
SAP experience
Fluent English (minimum B2, ideally C1)
High attention to detail and analytical mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
