As Spain Deputy Responsible Person for Medicines & Medical Devices & Imported Cosmetics

The purpose is to ensure that the European and Spanish regulations and Local Health Authorities expectations are met for the distribution and importation of Haleon products (Medicines and Medical Devices) in Spain, as per the requirements of the following regulations:

• For Medicines: GDP EU Guideline, RD 824/2010 and RD 782/2013 named as "Técnico Responsible Suplente".
• For Medical Devices:
  Regulation (UE) 2017/745 and RD 192/2023 named as "Responsable Técnico Suplente".
• For Cosmetics:
  Real Decreto 85/2018, & Reglamento (CE) Nº 1223/2009 named as "Persona Cualificada de contacto Suplente".

• The role will actively have strong oversight responsibilities for Quality Operations in Logistic Service Providers and Repackers.
• Implement & maintain LOC Quality processes and systems for all activities carried out across the Local Business ensuring as well that they are in compliance with Haleon standards and EU & Local regulations.
• These Operational processes and systems would related(but not limited) to: product Supply, Receipt, Storage and Returns, batch management & Release to Market according to the regulations, Shipment Under Quarantine, Local Repacking, support to Logistics for Distribution Risk Assessments, Recall & Incident management, Change Control, Quality Complaints, Corrective and Preventive Actions (including root cause analysis and deviations). Support launches and discontinuation process.

• Ensure readiness for Health Authorities Inspections.

  Education Required:
  
  Pharmacy Degree or Master (MBA, MS, MA) in Pharmaceutical Science
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as RP or Quality Manager within the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare Industries
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to GDP Regulations for all types of product (medicines, MD, Cosmetics, food, general goods).

• Understanding of and experience in quality assurance systems particularly in the areas of batch release, product incidents, artwork control and performing audits
• Knowledge on effective quality documentation systems
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mind, good attention to detail and problem-solving skills within a structured process
• Good team player – works well in cross-functional teams
• Works with a spirit of continuous improvement and innovation, creatively open to new ideas and methods
• Flexible thinking – able to challenge and see views from different perspectives
• Ability to self-motivate and be resilient and focused under pressure
• Able to work effectively in English
• Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Experience with IT systems e.g.Veeva, CRMS, my learning, CERPs
• Experience in trending and trend analysis to drive improvement activities
