PL​/SQL Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test business functionalities for the INSIS platform.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve code for integration architecture with other platforms via APIs and file exchange.
• Create standardized, cost‑efficient, simple, reusable, maintainable, and user‑friendly code.
• Develop PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and other Oracle database objects to analyze business requests and implement custom changes.
• Write quality code documentation and support testing activities.
• Collaborate with business chapters (claims, product) and partner technical teams to maintain optimal data structures and customization code.
• Continuously grow insurance domain knowledge and apply best practices to development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle database architecture.
• Experience developing Java code.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent time management, teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and delivering high‑quality software within aggressive schedules.
• Fluent in English.
