As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications and services. You will work primarily with Java and Kotlin to build clean, maintainable code, develop APIs, design integrations between distributed systems and deliver high‑quality software to production.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, Product Managers and stakeholders, contributing to technical discussions, improving development practices and ensuring solutions are secure, reliable and built to scale. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, mentor others and help shape the future of the platform.

• Commercial experience with Java, Kotlin or another JVM language
• Experience developing and supporting production software
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and clean code
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems
• SQL and/or No

• Git and modern version control practices
• Debugging, testing and monitoring applications
• Experience working within Agile development teams
