Senior Software Engineer; Full Stack

Atmen is a Munich-based Reg Tech startup revolutionising green certification. Our SaaS platform helps energy-intensive industries (fuels, chemicals, materials) automate compliance and certification—cutting down time by up to 90%. We replace today's manual, costly, and unpredictable certification processes with continuous, technology-driven verification. Our mission? As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our product, working closely with our engineering and product teams to build robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. You will:

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack software solutions, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
• Drive development from ideation to production, working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Lead by example by writing clean, testable code and supporting engineering best practices.
• Own features end-to-end
  —from architecture to implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Mentor and collaborate with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability to ensure our platform meets enterprise-grade standards.

Must-haves

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in full‑stack roles.
• Proficiency in Type Script, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS

• Strong software engineering principles
  : clean code, modularity, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, distributed systems
  .
• Self‑motivated and able to navigate a fast‑changing startup environment
  .
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
