Overview

Amazon Business (AB) is a fast‑growing B2B business focused on building innovative buying and procurement solutions for enterprises worldwide. This position is for a Software Development Engineer whose work will help scale our products for diverse languages, cultures, and regions.

• Own the complete software development lifecycle from conception to production, including requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, and maintain innovative solutions utilizing both front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Drive architectural improvements and technical debt reduction while maintaining focus on customer experience and business outcomes.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.
• Mentor more junior team members in their career growth.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience in designing and building scalable, globally ready software solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with AWS and machine learning technologies is a plus.
