Senior Architect

We are looking for a SENIOR ARCHITECT with a minimum of 10 years of experience, with the ability to lead large-scale projects in the Concept, Schematic Design, Detail Design and Site Supervision phases, coordinating internal and external teams and managing the relationship with the client. A combination of creative abilities and technical knowledge will be appreciated. It will be valuable to have experience in retail, shopping centres and mixed-use projects.

Command of English, Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop and Microsoft Office is essential. Hand-drawing skills will be an advantage. Competitive remuneration. Immediate incorporation.

• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Residence in Madrid
• Desire to contribute to business development and client-facing presentations, and to build your role in this area with us
• Commercial awareness, knowledge of Spanish Building Regulations and excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Enscape, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite required
• Proven client-facing project architect capable of running the design process and then delivering the project as a team leader and primary point of contact

As a Senior Architect, we'd be looking for you to oversee and manage projects and teams, but you will also be involved in the production of projects. You would be managing the design process, scheduling workflow and outputs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs which align with our ethos and vision. You’ll be supported by a local Associate and Director of Architecture alongside our wider practice support team.

You will be working primarily in the retail sector, but not excluding other sectors, in a variety of geographies, including internationally, and we would like you to play a wider role in building your network and profile in Madrid, supporting us in job acquisition and business development.
