Kensington School, Madrid, a prestigious British international school with over 50 years' history, is seeking a dynamic and forward‑looking Economics Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and inspirational team, delivering IGCSE and IB Economics while contributing to a thriving academic environment. The ability to teach Maths and/or Business Studies is an advantage.

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Economics lessons across KS3–5, including IGCSE and IB.
• Support the teaching of Maths and/or Business Studies where required.
• Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their potential.
• Create an engaging, motivating, and safe learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development, and departmental initiatives.
• Serve as a form tutor and support the pastoral development of students.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Participate in staff development, performance reviews, and school‑wide initiatives.
• Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally in Economics at IGCSE and IB levels.
• Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies and curriculum requirements for KS3–5.
• Excellent planning, assessment, and organisational skills.
• Strong ICT skills and ability to integrate technology into learning.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students, raising aspirations and achievement.
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborative, proactive, and professional approach to work.
