An established international school in Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French Teacher to join its dynamic team from late August 2026
. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to teach French across Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2) and up to and including iGCSE level within a supportive, high-performing environment.

• Teach French to UKS2 pupils and iGCSE classes, ensuring high academic standards.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Modern Foreign Languages department.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ pastoral and academic development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching French to UKS2 and/or iGCSE level.
• Previous experience in an international or bilingual school setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
• A commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and high standards of professional practice.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
