Hastings School, founded in 1971, serves students aged 2-18, from a diverse community and is nestled in the heart of Madrid, Spain. We are a prestigious, premium international school, within the Cognita family of schools. Our holistic educational approach delivers outstanding academic results. In this role, you will inspire a diverse range of learners by delivering high‑quality teaching that reflects high expectations, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine passion for your field. You will plan engaging lessons using a variety of effective teaching methods that stimulate curiosity and meet the needs of all students. You will use assessment data to guide your practice, monitor progress, and provide meaningful feedback that supports students to achieve their academic goals.
As part of the school community, you will contribute to reports, maintain discipline in line with school procedures, and play an active role in wider responsibilities such as form tutoring, extracurricular activities, and staff development. You will also uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
This is a permanent, full‑time role with a start date in August 2026.
