About the school
St George's British School Madrid is a well established school located in a prime educational zone to the North of the capital. Therole
The successful candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner teaching Science across the secondary phase up to the end of Key Stage 5 (Year 13). A specialism in Biology or Physics is preferred. The school follows the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, IGCSE at Key Stage 4 and the IB Diploma programme in the Sixth Form. Experience teaching across this range is an advantage.
The school offers individual sciences and double award at IGCSE and all sciences at HL/SL in the IB Diploma. Training will be provided for teachers developing IB Diploma teaching where subject knowledge is appropriate. A possible middle leadership responsibility may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.

- Support the whole-child development of students from a range of backgrounds

The closing date for applications is Monday 24th August. The school is looking to recruit for a September 2026 start if the right candidate is available.
