**** An opportunity for an tooling manager, has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Jigs and Tools Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft jigs and tools, playing a crucial role in our commitment to excellence and safety.

** Responsibilities :
** 1. Perform the Tooling Verification Process (TVP) of all J&T belonging to Getafe Plant in order to guarantee J&T periodical maintenance revision is properly performed. The jobholder is responsible for defining the means, inspection type and inspection sequence described in TVP. 2. Control periodical maintenance revision is performed before expiry date and record in the IT tool available the TVP fulfilled.

3. Certify periodical maintenance revision is performed according to TVP and take a decision or disposal if any deviations are reported, assuring the same level of performances. 4. The jobholder is responsible to raise discrepancy report if any deviations are found in J&T and assure corrective actions are implemented.
5. Assure the acceptance of new or modified J&T belonging to Getafe Plant is performed according to Airbus Standards; assuring the traceability of the documents received and recording the tooling registers in the IT tool available.
6. Contribute to audit process fulfillment, by supporting all J&T issues, including internal, external and Airworthiness Authorities audits. 7. The jobholder is responsible to support technically all J&T issues in Getafe Plant.
8. Lead continuous improvement projects from AOS deployment and related to J&T. 9. Tooling control of Jig&Tools storehouse

* Education:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

* Experience:

Proven experience in quality management within the aviation industry, with a focus on aircraft jigs and tools.

* Soft skills:

In-depth knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, standards, and certification processes.

* Languages:

Advanced level in English.
* Technical knowledge:
Proficient in quality management tools and software.
* Valuable / Nice to have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
