Amazon is expanding its presence in the Middle East and North Africa. We are looking for a dynamic and accomplished Finance Manager who can generate actionable insights and develop tools and mechanisms that will equip our teams to drive growth and profitability.
As a Finance Manager, you will establish and maintain financial controls and processes through continuous auditing and reporting of inputs and outputs. The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts, and is passionate about data and analytics. He or she is comfortable with business intelligence tools, partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities where data-backed insights drive value creation, and translates analysis results into executive-facing business terms.
The candidate works with internal and external teams to push projects across the finishing line, is a self‑starter, comfortable with ambiguity, thinks big while paying careful attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced global team.
- Build review routines with the local business, including roll‑out and training on related tools
- Own and develop robust mechanisms to inspect growth and profitability of our business, working closely with related business teams
- Establish controllership and approval mechanisms to manage day‑to‑day profitability
- Invent, simplify, and automate management reporting, working closely with owners in business and Business Intelligence teams across the Amazon world
- Provide strategic guidance, tactical direction, and decision support to business and finance partners
- Lead key analytical projects and contribute to reviews that influence senior leadership decision making
- Develop financial plans for both short and long‑term planning exercises, aligning inputs with senior stakeholders worldwide
- Building financial and operational analysis to drive and influence data‑driven senior leadership decisions
- Use a range of metrics and models to forecast, link operational objectives to financials, and determine opportunities for improvement
- Business partner cross‑functionally with key senior stakeholders, providing finance support and challenge
- Lead projects by overseeing timelines, priorities, auditing quality and resolving issue
- Produce a financial and operational plan to support business priorities, and lead on associated projects
- Generate insights from financial data, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and communicate findings with the leadership team to drive business actions
- Support with training new team members and contribute to onboarding plans
- Maintain and build tools for your team to support knowledge sharing and help to standardize processes across teams
You will play a core role in a number of projects at any one time. By tracking performance metrics, analysing data and building financial models, you’ll identify where we can drive better efficiency and productivity. You’ll also show us how different scenarios impact our business from a financial perspective, which is vital for many of our stakeholders to make business decisions.
This role will allow you to work independently, whilst also working closely with our partners to provide the insights they need. You’ll be predominantly based in one of our corporate offices but may also require to travel to sites on an ad‑hoc basis.

Basic Qualifications- 8+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience
