Amazon is seeking a highly analytical, meticulous and forward-thinking Senior Staff Accountant to join Finance Operations Accounting and Analysis (FOAA) based in Beijing. This role works with Amazon corporate accounting teams across APAC to ensure high quality and timely deliverables in statutory and financial compliance. Strong organizational skills and IT aptitude are required.

• Preparing various deliverables to support internal and external financial reporting needs, including statutory close support, analytics and supplementary financial analysis.
• Working closely with business partners across APAC and globally, to maintain efficient and compliant accounting processes.
• Identifying and establishing process improvements.
• Collaborating closely with Accounting and Technology teams to drive standardization and automation globally.

• 1+ years of finance experience
• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience
• 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

• 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
