Who are we recruiting for?Our client is a leading financial platform specializing in renewable energy investments, including utility‑scale solar and wind projects, battery storage, and distributed energy solutions. They connect institutional capital with high‑quality investment opportunities, enabling investors to deploy capital efficiently through a technology‑driven platform.
What will you be doing?- Lead the commercial development and origination strategy for the company’s SME financing platform.
- Source, originate, and execute new financing opportunities, building a strong pipeline of SME clients and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and manage senior relationships with business owners, corporate clients, institutional investors, banks, family offices, and other financial partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their financing needs and structuring tailored debt and equity solutions.
- Lead negotiations and manage financing transactions from origination through execution.
- Work closely with the Risk, Product, Investment, and Technology teams to deliver efficient and scalable financing solutions.
- Perform financial analysis, credit assessment, and transaction structuring to support investment decisions.
- Represent the company externally with credibility and confidence, engaging with C‑level executives and senior decision‑makers across the financial ecosystem.
- Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the company’s commercial strategy and product development.
- Support strategic initiatives including project finance, M&A transactions, institutional investment programs, and structured finance opportunities.
- Significant experience in origination and business development within corporate banking, direct lending, private debt, alternative finance, or structured finance.
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing financing transactions for SMEs or mid‑market companies.
- Strong network within the Spanish financial ecosystem, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build long‑term commercial relationships and generate new business opportunities.
- Experience in corporate banking (Spain or international), private credit, alternative lending platforms, investment funds, or senior finance positions within SMEs.
- Knowledge of project finance, debt structuring, equity financing, M&A, or institutional investment is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with solid financial and analytical capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑growing environment.
- Passion for innovation and technology applied to financial services.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Native Spanish and fluent English.
