Madrid Investment Banking Internship - October 2026 through March 2027About the Team

We are offering talented students and recent graduates an exciting opportunity to work in the demanding field of Investment Banking (Mergers & Acquisitions) for a six-month internship from October 2026 - March 2027 in our Madrid office. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our team and gain live experience working for a global investment bank. Our program provides all interns with the unique opportunity to:
Work alongside current Analyst, Associate, and VP over the course of six months Take on all functions of a full-time analyst Assist deal teams in live transactions Perform financial due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of potential and live transactions Receive direct client exposure in a culture of collaboration and accountability Draft pitch materials, information memorandums, management presentations, and other relevant communications Identify potential M&A and financing situations
- Exceptional academic credentials, with a degree qualification (completed or on-going) from a top-tier institution
- Bachelor’s and master’s degree: all subjects considered
- General understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and strong attention to detail
- High level of motivation and ability to work in a team
- Adaptability to a constantly changing environment and ability to manage through change with a high degree of emotional maturity
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for investment banking
- Strong proficiency with MS-Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions, adapt to new tasks with little notice, and to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential
- Fluency in any other European language is highly desired with Italian preferred
This internship will last for six months from the beginning of October 2026. Successful interns will be considered for full-time Analyst positions. The 6-month Internship run between October 2026 – March 2027.
