Head of Structured Finance

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial models for new bids and opportunities under concession and/or structured finance models.
• Review and provide feedback on financial models prepared by partners and external advisors.
• Analysis of tender documents and project bidding documentation.
• Design and analysis of financing strategies (PPP, concessions), considering private banking, multilateral banking, bond issuance, among others.
• Market sounding to identify efficient funding sources.
• Risk management related to financial structures.
• Negotiation of financing agreements.
• Preparation of scopes of work for financial/tax advisory, analysis and selection of proposals.
• Search and negotiation with external advisors and knowledge of consulting market players.
• Identification of insurers, reinsurers, and brokers (national and international).
• Coordination with the bidding team for requests to brokers and insurers.
• Review of documentation and information required for surety bonds.
• Coordination of guarantee issuance.
• Monitoring the progress of PPP and concession projects and updating models.
• Supervision of compliance with financing agreements.

• Degree in Business Administration or Economics, with specialization in financial modeling.
• At least 5 years of experience in structured finance, banking, or advisory (Big Four or similar).
• Experience in the infrastructure sector is highly valued, preferably in potable water, wastewater, desalination, or distribution and sanitation networks projects.
• English at negotiation level. French is an asset.
