Santander SCIB Summer Program Europe – Investment Banking Advisory (M&A & ECM), within Santander Corporate & Investment Banking.
This immersive summer program is designed for students who will enter their final year of university after the internship. You will gain hands‑on professional experience, work alongside global teams and begin developing the analytical, technical, and commercial skills needed for a career in investment banking.
THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKEAs part of the Santander SCIB Summer Program Europe – Investment Banking Advisory (M&A & ECM), you will support the execution of strategic transactions and advisory projects across Europe. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting M&A projects involving acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, valuations and transaction analysis for corporates, financial institutions and sponsors.
- Helping conduct company, sector and market research across Energy & Energy Transition, TMT, Infrastructure & Industrials, and Consumer, Healthcare & Real Estate.
- Contributing to Equity Capital Markets projects, including IPOs, follow‑on offerings, equity‑linked solutions and private placements.
- Assisting with financial analysis, valuation work, pitch books, market updates and transaction documentation.
- Working with experienced professionals and gaining exposure to the execution of live transactions and client advisory processes.
- Potentially supporting Growth Capital Investment Banking activities for high‑growth private companies.

- University degree: Students expected to complete their studies in summer 2028 and enter their final year of university after the internship; degrees in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields are welcomed.
- English level: High proficiency in English; any additional language is a plus.
- Skills: Open and collaborative approach in a multicultural environment; exposure to Excel, PowerPoint, financial analysis or corporate finance is helpful but not required.
- Interest: Strong interest in M&A, equity capital markets, corporate finance and investment banking.
- Availability: Available for a full‑time summer internship from June/July to August/September 2027, depending on the country.
- Location: Based in Europe (Madrid, London, Frankfurt, Paris or Milan).
