Join our Fin Crime team as a Fin Crime Operations Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in protecting our business and customers by executing day-to-day controls across AML, Fraud, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, and KYC/KYB. You’ll investigate alerts, conduct onboarding and due diligence checks, make risk-based decisions, and contribute to building a robust, efficient, and continuously improving Financial Crime operating model.
Key Responsibilities- Execute Fin Crime controls:
Conduct KYC/KYB onboarding and refresh checks, review and investigate AML, Fraud, Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring alerts, and ensure accurate, well-documented decisions within agreed SLAs and quality standards. - Support risk management & improvement:
Identify risks, recurring issues and process inefficiencies, escalating complex or high-risk cases, and contributing to process improvements, workflow tuning, SOP updates and ad-hoc Fin Crime projects. - Collaborate with stakeholders:
Work closely with Product, Customer Support, Technology, partners and other internal teams, providing operational guidance and leading discussions where required. - Maintain strong operational standards:
Keep up to date with relevant Fin Crime typologies, risk indicators, policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and compliant application of controls.
- Relevant experience, ideally within a regulated business or Financial Crime environment, with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong KYC/KYB knowledge and experience with AML, Fraud, Sanctions or Transaction Monitoring processes.
- Analytical, proactive and solution-oriented, with strong attention to detail and excellent workload/time-management skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and working with operational systems and databases.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills and confidence engaging with customers, stakeholders and partners.
- Passionate about technology and AI-driven innovation, with a continuous-learning mindset and genuine drive to improve processes and ways of working.
