Role MissionWe are looking for a Global Payroll Manager to lead and scale our global payroll model across all SAMY countries.
This role will own the governance, implementation, and continuous optimization of our global payroll framework, working closely with ADP Celergo as our global payroll provider.
The mission goes beyond payroll execution: it is about building a centralized, controlled, and scalable Global Payroll Engine that enables international growth, ensures full compliance, strengthens financial accuracy, and drives operational efficiency across all regions.
Lead the global payroll rollout across LATAM (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia) in partnership with ADP Celergo, ensuring successful implementation, transition, and stabilization.
Oversee payroll operations across multiple European entities (Spain, UK, Portugal, and Italy), acting as the global owner of the payroll model with ADP Celergo and other providers.
Standardize and harmonize global payroll calendars, cut-offs, approval workflows, pay elements, processes, and documentation across all countries.
Ensure full legal, tax, and statutory compliance in every jurisdiction, partnering with local advisors where required.
Guarantee data integrity between HRIS (Personio) and payroll systems, ensuring accurate integrations and reconciliation processes, in close collaboration with Finance.
Drive payroll governance and internal controls, including validation checks, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
Support M&A activities and new country expansions from a payroll and HR administration perspective, ensuring scalable setup and compliance alignment.
Lead automation initiatives and integrations with other systems (Personio, Netsuite) to reduce manual interventions, improve efficiency, and enhance payroll accuracy.
Proven Global Payroll Expertise:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-country payroll environments, ideally across both LATAM and Europe.ADP Celergo
Experience:
Hands‑on experience working with ADP Celergo in implementation, governance, or operational management (highly preferred).Strong Technical Payroll Knowledge:
Deep understanding of payroll legislation, tax regulations, statutory compliance, and social security frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.Payroll Transformation & Standardization
Experience:
Demonstrated experience leading payroll rollouts, harmonization initiatives, or building centralized payroll models across several countries.Systems & Integration Capability:
Experience working with HRIS and financial systems integrations (ideally Personio and/or Net Suite), ensuring data accuracy, reconciliations, and process automation.Governance & Stakeholder Management
Skills:
Strong ability to coordinate with external providers, local advisors, Finance, and HR teams, ensuring robust payroll controls, audit readiness, and continuous process optimization.Languages:
Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
