Senior Project Manager

Join Amaris Consulting and take the lead on complex international projects for sophisticated electronic systems in the aeronautics and defense sector. You will work with top‑tier aerospace and defense players, coordinate cross‑functional teams and suppliers, and manage high‑stakes customer relationships in a dynamic, highly technical environment within a global group with more than 1,000 clients and €800M in revenue.

As a Senior Project Manager – Avionics / Electronic Systems (Development Phase) you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of complex, multi‑national projects in the aeronautics and defense domain during the development phase
.

You will:

• Lead project and program execution for sophisticated electronic systems (hardware, firmware, software).
• Ensure alignment with customer expectations
  , maintaining a high level of trust and satisfaction

• Drive cross‑functional coordination across engineering, industrial, supply chain and external partners.
• Implement strong governance and project control in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Experience & technical background

• 10+ years of project management experience
  , including leadership of complex technical projects / programs
  .
• Proven experience in aeronautics, defense or highly regulated industries (strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated success managing international, cross‑functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong experience in supplier management and production follow‑up
  .
• Solid understanding of electronic systems development
  :
  
  Hardware and/or embedded systems
  .
• Product lifecycle milestones (e.g.
  PDR, CRD, TRR, QR
  ).
• Experience managing projects with high technical complexity and capacity/resource constraints
  .

Languages

• Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• French is a strong plus for interaction with local teams, suppliers and customers.
