Job Description:

Experienced wind farm engineer needed! Expertise in wind farms, solar PV, CSP, and hydro projects worldwide. Roles: consultant and engineer in feasibility, development, construction monitoring, and commissioning of wind farms internationally. Join our team in Spain, France, or Germany!

• Act as expert consultant for projection and development of wind farm projects for private developers, investment funds, national/international financial institutions and utilities as independent technical advisor.
• Serve as an expert wind consultant on wind resource, energy yield assessments, turbine selection, and overall project management.
• Lead feasibility studies, including wind resource analysis, preliminary wind farm design (layout), turbine selection, electricity production estimation, ancillary infrastructure definition, CAPEX and OPEX estimation.
• Prepare or supervise drafting of technical specifications for tender documents, evaluate EPC/IPP bids, review and validate executive design before construction, and supervise construction and commissioning.
• Advise and support ILF Group Wind Competence Center and international offices in wind technology project development and implementation.

• Bachelor's degree in energy, electrical or industrial engineering (Master's preferred); specialization in wind/renewable energy. Experience with storage systems (BESS) is an asset.
• 5 years of experience in consultancy or design and development of wind farms and renewable electricity production.
• Strong technical understanding and knowledge of major wind turbine manufacturers.
• Experience with Wind/Pro software, Open Wind and other wind farm design tools (e.g., CFD).
• Good knowledge of PPA (IPP), EPC, and O&M contract provisions, especially performance measures and penalties.
• Fluency in spoken and written English essential; knowledge of Spanish, German, French an advantage.
