To support our growth, we are looking for a :

Long term contract

MADRID (Spain)

As part of the Energy Storage department and under the supervision of the Head of Energy Storage your role is to ensure the origination and the securing of BESS project opportunities, identify profitable business cases from market analysis to regulatory frameworks.

Your main tasks will be to :

ANALYSE PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES:

• Lead the techno-economic assessment of standalone and hybrid storage projects under development, supporting the origination and M&A teams in the evaluation of greenfield, co-development and RTB acquisition opportunities.
• Contribute to the analysis of regulatory developments and emerging BESS technologies across Spain and the wider Iberian market.
• Contribute to the assessment of revenue stacks for storage projects in Spain, leveraging an understanding of the regulatory framework and electricity market mechanisms, including wholesale markets and ancillary services, in close coordination with the Energy Management team.

SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTE TO DEVELOPMENT OF BESS PROJECT:

• Support the development of utility-scale battery storage projects through to Ready-to-Build stage, as well as the integration of BESS solutions into operational PV assets.
• Support the preparation of business cases for BESS projects in the development phase, working closely with the Development, Energy Management and Investment teams.
• Define, structure and monitor the scope of work assigned to third-party consultants, ensuring the quality and relevance of their deliverables.
• Act as a coordination point between Iberian business development teams, the BESS technical team based in France, Investment team and local engineering partners to support project analysis and development activities.

Educational Background
:
You hold a Master’s degree in energy/electrical Engineering or Environmental Science.

Professional Experience
:
You have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in BESS and hybrid project analytics, business development. A significant experience in project co-development, energy management in BtoB or relevant sectors would be appreciated.

Energy Markets Insight
:
Experience in energy markets and BESS revenue streams would be a major advantage.

Technical Proficiency
:
You are highly skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and have experience with software like Google Earth, QGIS, or equivalent GIS software.

Language Skills
:
You are fluent in both Spanish and English.
