Concept & Technology Lead

• Technically drive projects involving new technologies for future wind turbine generators
• Drive Nordex wind turbine generator technology and associated systems
• Initiate and drive innovation focused on reducing the cost of energy for wind turbine generators
• Focus on aerodynamics, blade design concepts, aeroelasticity, and rotor optimization
• Lead and conduct concept-level engineering analyses, studies, and calculations
• Manage small to medium-sized diverse and interdisciplinary project teams
• Provide strong technical guidance and foster collaboration
• Serve as technical advisor for product strategy, engineering, and upper management
• Document results professionally and communicate with all company functions from shop floor to board level

• Degree in engineering, applied science, or equivalent
• Foreign qualifications require recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency when applying
• Several years of industrial experience in research and development
• Ideally experience in aerodynamics, blade design concepts, and aeroelasticity
• Strong knowledge of engineering analyses, studies, and calculations in blade technology for wind turbines
• Flexibility to work with all areas of the company in international and diverse teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and integration skills
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Hands-on mentality and strong decision-making personality
• Proficiency in common and specialized engineering IT tools
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Project/Planner

Demonstrates expertise in aerodynamics, blade design concepts, and aeroelasticity for wind turbine technology, with strong capabilities in engineering analyses and project management. Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
