Head of Legal

A high-growth AI infrastructure business is looking for a Head of Legal to lead its European legal function, based in Madrid.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with direct exposure to senior leadership and responsibility across M&A, corporate, commercial and strategic matters.

• Lead and build out the European legal function
• Own M&A, acquisitions, investments and corporate transactions
• Lead complex commercial contracting, including MSAs, customer and vendor agreements
• Advise on corporate governance, structuring and international expansion
• Support financing and capital markets activity
• Partner directly with senior commercial, finance and infrastructure teams
• Manage external counsel across European jurisdictions
• Build scalable legal processes as the European business continues to grow

• 10+ years' PQE
• Australian or UK qualified preferred
• Strong corporate/M&A and commercial background
• Experience with complex, cross-border transactions
• Strong commercial contracting experience
• Comfortable operating independently and building a function
• Pragmatic, commercially minded and confident advising senior stakeholders
