British American Tobacco Spain has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Sponsorship Executive in Madrid

This role has a direct impact on strengthening brand visibility, enhancing consumer engagement, and elevating the overall consumer experience through strategic sponsor ships. By selecting and executing high‑value partnerships, the position ensures that every activation delivers measurable brand and commercial results. The role also drives cross‑functional alignment, contributing to consistent execution and maximizing the return on experiential investments. Ultimately, this role is pivotal in advancing the organization’s consumer‑centric vision by transforming sponsor ships into powerful levers that shape brand performance and consumer perception.

This role is part of Sponsor ships Team and is responsible for leading and executing critical projects to be implemented within the consumer experience team for our new categories.

BAT is currently looking for a Sponsor ships Executive to join the Iberia Consumer Experience Team, based in our Madrid office. In this role, the Executive is expected to lead, execute, and optimize sponsorship initiatives that elevate the Consumer Experience for BAT’s New Categories in Iberia. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering high‑impact sponsorship platforms, ensuring they are aligned with brand strategies, consumer needs, and organizational priorities.

• Develop and execute sponsorship strategies aligned with brand and consumer experience objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand relevance and impact.
• Manage end‑to‑end sponsorship agreements, ensuring compliance, timely delivery, and quality execution.
• Plan and coordinate brand activations and experiential initiatives tied to sponsor ships.
• Monitor and evaluate sponsorship performance using KPIs like awareness, engagement, and ROI.
• Optimize sponsorship investments by recommending strategic improvements and adjustments.
• Manage relationships with partners, agencies, rights holders, and internal stakeholders for seamless collaboration.
• Track emerging trends, deliver performance insights, and ensure sponsor ships strengthen brand equity.

• 3–4 years of experience in brand or marketing roles, with high proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong project management skills, ability to multitask, influence others, and drive results.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong analytical abilities.
• Effective planning, organization, and proven leadership with proactivity and ownership.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative team mindset.
• High drive, passion, and ability to build close working relationships with internal teams.
• University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field;
  Master’s or MBA in marketing/digital marketing is a plus.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, plan strategically, and deliver impactful marketing initiatives.
