WHAT IS THE DIGITAL AND ANALYTICS PRACTICE

Data & Analytics is a specialist business unit founded in 2017 in Newcastle‑upon‑Tyne and has since expanded across Europe (Milan, Berlin, Madrid, Athens). The practice is a dynamic, fast‑growing team of quantitative analytics specialists that works closely with our colleagues across Oliver Wyman to cover a global footprint and multiple industries, including financial services, insurance, retail and transportation.

Clients hire us for our depth of insight and expertise that comes from specialisation. We combine analytical rigour with a relentless focus on client impact.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position offers excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals with prior experience in a quantitative setting.

Flexible working and market‑leading work‑life balance will be a priority. There will be opportunities to travel with a mix of around 50% of time spent on client site vs. off‑site, though individual needs will be considered when staffing off‑site vs. on‑site roles.

You will be part of a highly driven team of analytical experts who are on a mission to make a positive impact for our clients, their broader stakeholders and the societies in which they operate using software, data and machine learning.

• Managing projects and leading one or more projects at a time.
• Designing and implementing data products from analytical and software perspectives: software and data architecture design, product development and integration, hypothesis development, data collection, model creation, analyses and primary/secondary research.
• Presenting and interacting with clients for technical decision making.
• Using Partners and the internal network to provide technical and senior‑level steering to projects.
• Collaborating with clients to complete deliverables to a high standard.
• Maintaining team energy and a positive work‑life balance.
• Coaching Oliver Wyman and client team members to develop their skills.
