Puesto: Partner Manager - Business Development (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Madrid, Spain
. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding and strengthening our partner network, directly contributing to Flix’s growth in the Spanish market.

You will report to the Head of Business Development for Iberia and collaborate closely with cross‑functional international teams, including Operations, Network Planning, Authorizations, Finance, Marketing, and Pricing.

About the Role
  • Identify, negotiate, and acquire new bus operators to partner with Flix, establishing long‑term relationships based on trust and developing long‑term business plans.
  • Act as the point of contact for our bus partners in Spain and lead regular business reviews, discussing and reaching consensus on business, financial, and operational topics.
  • Conduct contractual negotiations that ensure a win‑win situation between Flix Bus and the bus partners.
  • Analyse KPIs, market trends, and competitors’ activities, recognise problems, and derive suitable recommendations for action.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from Operations, Marketing, Network Planning and Pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including bus fleet owners, OEMs, body builders, and industry associations.
  • Handle administrative and reporting tasks to ensure smooth documentation, contract follow‑ups, and project tracking.
About You
  • 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Consulting, Account Management, or similar B2B roles, ideally in Spain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related fields.
  • Native Spanish speaker and very fluent in English (written and oral).
  • Experience in the transport or mobility sector is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and B2B negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, flexible, and highly achievement‑oriented.
  • Customer‑driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit to support Flix Bus profitable growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to analyse market trends and make data‑driven decisions.
