The Global Senior ESG Specialist will be responsible for embedding ESG across SAMY's global operations and positioning the company as a leading responsible business within the marketing and communications industry.

Working closely with the Executive Team and key business leaders, this role will ensure that ESG moves beyond compliance to become a competitive advantage, strengthening our employer value proposition, client proposition and long-term value creation.

The role combines strategy, execution, reporting and internal engagement, ensuring that our commitments translate into measurable impact across our people, operations and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the execution and continuous evolution of SAMY's global ESG strategy, embedding responsible business practices and company values across the organisation.

• Act as the global owner of employee engagement and culture initiatives, ensuring SAMY's values are embedded throughout the employee lifecycle and foster a high-performing, people-first culture.

• Partner with the Executive Team, Founders and business leaders to strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing, productivity and retention, while supporting the successful integration of new acquisitions.

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of global employee engagement and ESG programmes, including OWN IT
  , Mentoring, Parenthood at SAMY, volunteering, mobility initiatives and the ESG Ambassador Network.

• Own ESG governance, policies, reporting and compliance, coordinating data collection, audits and disclosures for the Board, investors, lenders, clients and other key stakeholders.

• Lead cross-functional ESG initiatives across People, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Operations, defining and monitoring ESG KPIs to drive measurable business impact.

• Manage relationships with ESG rating agencies and frameworks, conduct materiality assessments, coordinate ESG due diligence responses and support the development of decarbonisation and carbon reduction roadmaps.

• Develop and maintain corporate ESG policies covering sustainability, climate change, human rights, ethics and responsible business practices, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and industry standards.

• Partner with the People, Talent, Marketing and Communications teams to strengthen SAMY's Employer Value Proposition and position the company as a leading responsible business through ESG storytelling, thought leadership, awards and external communications.

• Represent SAMY in ESG, sustainability and workplace culture forums, partnerships and industry initiatives, strengthening the company's reputation and influence.

• 3+ years' experience in ESG, Sustainability or Responsible Business, ideally in a consulting and/or fast-paced scale-up environment
  , with experience defining and delivering ESG strategies.

• Strong knowledge of ESG governance, reporting, regulatory frameworks, ratings and audits.

• Experience leading employee engagement and culture initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder and project management skills.

• Data-driven, with experience analysing ESG and People metrics.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Fluent English required;
  Spanish is a plus.

• Willingness to travel internationally (1–2 weeks every 2–3 months).
