A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) team works alongside portfolio company management teams to deliver operational and strategic improvements that create long-term value for private equity investors. Our clients engage us on some of their most important opportunities and challenges, where practical execution and measurable results matter.

We are a collaborative and entrepreneurial team with a flat, accessible culture. As an intern, you will become an integrated member of the team. From the outset, you will work as part of client-facing teams on live engagements. You will support analysis, problem-solving and decision-making activities that help clients achieve their objectives. Throughout the internship, you will build a strong foundation in commercial thinking, analytical problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement. You will also develop confidence in presenting insights and recommendations to a range of audiences.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with senior management and to support business development initiatives.

• Conducting essential strategic research and market analysis.

• Performing research on potential targets and helping to prepare “points of view” documents.

• Supporting commercial activities, including preparing materials for client pitches.

• Assisting in intelligence management on forthcoming deals.

• Graduate in Engineering, Business Administration or similar. It is important to be a graduate in order to be able to sign an internship contract ;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• Ability to prioritise – especially in highly pressured situations;

• Some Excel modelling skills;

• Fluent business level English and Spanish. Additional European language skills including Dutch, German, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable;

• Strong interest in a career within Consulting.
