Greenvolt is seeking an Employee & Labour Specialist who will provide expert support on labor relations, compliance, and employee lifecycle management across the EMEA region. This role ensures adherence to local and international labor laws, supports HR processes, and contributes to a positive employee experience while mitigating legal risks.
Key Accountabilities- Advise on labor law compliance and employment regulations across EMEA jurisdictions, with strong focus on Spain and other key markets.
- Draft and review employment contracts, amendments, and termination documentation for multiple countries.
- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and legally compliant resolutions across diverse legal frameworks.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with international and EMEA standards.
- Coordinate with legal teams on complex labor issues, mergers, and organizational changes within EMEA.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure GDPR compliance across all EMEA entities.
- Support audits and reports related to labor compliance and social security obligations in multiple countries.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and grievance handling in line with local laws.
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, or related field.
- 2–3 years in labor relations or HR compliance, preferably with international exposure.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and familiarity with other EMEA jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across multicultural environments.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional EMEA languages (such as Spanish, Portuguese or French) is considered an advantage.
- Registration with the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados) or any other EMEA Bar Association will be considered a strong plus.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
