** Financial Lines Senior Claims Adjuster

Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.  Focused on Financial Lines business, you will be responsible for a portfolio of high value, complex claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution.

You will communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders in your role as our Financial Lines technical claims expert and thought leader.
* Strong experience and knowledge as a specialist in
** Financial Lines
** technical claims topics
* Law degree preferred
* Fluent in English
* Advanced knowledge of legal / regulatory and litigation / procedural requirements for Financial Lines.
* Experienced in stakeholder management, both internal (underwriting, distribution, actuarial, finance and executive management) and external (brokers, major account clients)
* Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and ADR skills on higher value complex claims.
* Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
* A track record of following up effectively on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous file handling improvement.
* The ability to influence claims and non-claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy.
* The ability to assist with technical training to the team’s claim handlers as required.
* Attention to detail
* Good time management and prioritization skills.
