Join Chubb and help drive the growth of our Environmental insurance portfolio in Iberia. As an Environmental Underwriter, you’ll work directly with brokers and clients, deliver underwriting excellence, and contribute your expertise to our dynamic team. This role is reporting to the Environmental Manager, Southern Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain broker/client relationships
- Assess and underwrite new business in line with Chubb guidelines
- Collaborate with Sales & Distribution to maximize opportunities, especially in Barcelona and northern Iberia
- Support cross-selling with other business lines
- Manage pipeline (SQB)
- Manage your renewal portfolio, ensuring timely issuance and strong retention
- Identify opportunities to transition business to digital platforms
- Build strong broker relationships through meetings and training
- Promote Chubb’s Environmental products
- Represent Chubb professionally to brokers, clients, and colleagues
- Ensure all underwriting meets Chubb’s standards and regulatory requirements
- Act as a positive ambassador for Chubb, upholding our values in every interaction
- Work closely with Claims, Operations, Finance, and other teams to support business success
