Business Development Analyst – Madrid

Monex is a leading global financial solutions provider specializing in FX risk management and international payments. The DCS team supports Monex’s client self‑service offering and drives profitability and customer retention.

DCS Team Overview

The DCS team enables Monex to scale our client self‑service offering to drive profitability and customer retention. Three pillars underpin the DCS service:
Client Services – Payment & Platform Support, Platform demos Digital Operations – Data analysis, proactively engage customers‑at‑risk, Trade Support – Dealing and Trade Support (to train new sales joiners).

Job Overview

As a Business Development Analyst you will support the client’s services success through digitally enabled cross‑selling, trade support, and troubleshooting. The role drives DCS revenue growth, increases digital adoption, and improves client retention via proactive client outreach.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Support clients with executing trades (both online and offline).
  • Demo Monex Pay to customers to encourage them to execute their own FX trades online.
  • Monitor client performance dashboards and system notifications, proactively reaching out to at‑risk and valuable clients.
  • Capture client touchpoints to measure effectiveness of actions and address concerns promptly.
  • Act as a liaison between back‑office operations and external customers, providing timely support for inbound trade‑related queries.
  • Provide standardized feedback to the Digital Operations team to conduct analysis and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify cross‑selling opportunities with existing clients.
  • Handle troubleshooting and follow‑through of customer inquiries.
  • Support the Digital Operations team in conducting marketing‑customized communications to clients.
Key Skills & Experience
  • FX Sales or Dealing experience.
  • Wider financial services or technology experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High level analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across departments.
Systems & Knowledge
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • FXDB.
  • HR System – Workday.
Languages

High standard of oral & written English and Spanish is mandatory. Fluency in other European languages (particularly French and Dutch) is highly desirable.
