What are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated and talented Customer Excellence Internship to join Deoleo in our Operations Team at our Global Headquarters in Madrid.
MissionAs a member of the Customer Excellence team, your main mission will be to manage, coordinate, and support customer orders from receipt to delivery and invoicing. You will provide excellent service to both internal departments (Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics) and external clients. This role requires strong interaction with stakeholders, effective problem resolution, and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire order-to-cash cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and managing customer orders sent via email and/or EDI.
- Reviewing stock availability to proceed with order loading.
- Handling customer claims, providing timely solutions and appropriate alternatives, and ensuring follow‑up until resolution.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, processing accounts, and organizing documentation.
- Managing customer debt to ensure timely collection.
- Following the procedures, guidelines, and communication policies established by the Customer Excellence department.
- Performing bookings with the logistics operator and managing VGM requirements.
- Creating internal processes to support efficient order and sample management.
- Higher Vocational Training, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Proficiency in IT tools (Office package: Word, Excel; SAP is a plus).
- English level B1.
- Customer orientation and the ability to adapt and respond to different types of interlocutors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High resilience and ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proactivity and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in both national and international environments.
