Medical Science Liaison, Rare diseases

Job Overview   IQVIA is expanding its team and seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) based in Spain.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead as a Country Medical Lead, contributing to the medical strategy and growth in multiple countries.
Our customer is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to bringing biosimilar medicines to market, ensuring high-quality biologics are available to more patients at cost-effective prices. Since their launch in 2012 they have developed the industry’s most rapidly advancing biosimilar medicines portfolio and become leaders in this field.
Responsibilities     Engage with customers across multiple countries through scientific discussions, presentations, and education.
Provide medical information and responses to complex medical questions from clinicians.
Offer internal scientific support and training, serving as an expert resource for colleagues.
Coordinate scientific education activities and participate in events such as Advisory Boards and congresses.
Support investigators and interact with scientific societies and patient groups.
Collect and report relevant information to the company, such as competitor information and treatment patterns.
Contribute to the design and delivery of the Country Medical Plan.
Gather and report medical and congress intelligence.
Develop local publications and maintain monthly contact with the Medical Director and HQ Medical team.
Identify and develop KOLs, providing educational and scientific support as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Commercial Department and Country Managers.
Qualifications     Scientific degree (PhD, Pharm

D, MD, MSc, etc.).
Pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL in the specified regions.
Experience in one or more of the following therapy areas:
Ophthalmology, Hematology, Nephrology, Rare Diseases, Immunology, Oncology or Endocrinology. Biosimilars experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Based in Spain with a full driving license.
