Medical Science Liaison Southern Portugal

IQVIA is expanding its team and is now seeking an additional  Medical Science Liaison  based in Spain. This is one of several newly created roles across the EU due to our customer’s ongoing success, and ahead of product launches in 2026.
Our customer is a global biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to bringing biosimilar medicines to market, ensuring high-quality biologics are available to more patients at cost effective prices. Since their inception they have developed the industry’s most rapidly advancing biosimilar medicines portfolio and become leaders in this field.
This a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the medical strategy in a company which operates in diverse, highly specialist therapy areas and which continues to demonstrate significant growth.
Territory to cover:
Spain and Southern Portugal
Responsibilities   Engage with customers through scientific discussions, presentations, and education, with responsibility for half of Spain and the southern region of Portugal.
Provide medical information and responses to complex medical questions from clinicians.
Offer internal scientific support and training, serving as an expert resource for commercial colleagues.
Coordinate scientific education activities and participate in events such as Advisory Boards and congresses.
Support investigators and interact with scientific societies and patient groups.
Collect and report relevant insights to the company, such as competitor information and treatment patterns.
Contribute to the design and delivery of the Medical Plan for Spain and Portugal.
Gather and report medical and congress intelligence.
Develop local publications and maintain monthly contact with the Medical Director and HQ Medical team.
Identify and develop KOLs, providing educational and scientific support as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Commercial Department and Country Managers.
Qualifications   Scientific degree (PhD, Pharm

D, MD, MSc, etc.).
Must have previous pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL in Spain.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Fluency in Spanish, and strong English language skills.
Based in Spain with a full driving license.
