Work Model Hybrid (1 day per week to office)

As a Java Data Specialist / Developer you will be a key member of the Business Intelligence team within the Surveillance department. You will contribute to the design development and maintenance of advanced information systems ensuring robust data engineering solutions for communications surveillance. This role requires both technical expertise and analytical skills to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business decision‑making.

• Execute technical developments required for information systems.
• Design and implement data engineering solutions for Communications Surveillance.
• Drive the evolution and corrective maintenance of existing information solutions.
• Provide support for service incidents including planned interventions.

Analyze and understand business changes translating them into technical solutions.

Manage changes across ALM environments adopting Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices.

• 1 year of experience with Java development tools web applications and distributed environments (Agile preferred).
• Experience managing distributed applications across development pre‑production and production (ALM) environments.
• 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 1 year of experience in Data Science developing end‑to‑end data solutions.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL R or comparable programming languages (Python SAS SPSS MATLAB).
• Knowledge of machine learning principles and MLOps.
• Ability to understand business requirements and transform large datasets into visual meaningful insights.
