Consultant – Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) – Alcobendas, Spain

Your Role

• Understand the EWM solution and address client issues, concerns and service requests in EWM and SAP systems.
• Raise issues and requests in Service Now ticketing tool and triage between multiple vendors to resolve them.
• Integrate with other satellite systems/vendors to deliver an integrated solution for the client.
• Present the solution and obtain approval from customers.
• Liaise with client business teams and advise the client.
• Engage customers on a day‑to‑day basis to win their confidence.
• Prepare solution proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
• Track team deliverables regularly and report to customers.
• Propose the best possible solution in the industry in the EWM domain.

• Strong SAP EWM experience, with at least 1‑2 end‑to‑end implementation projects and full lifecycle activities of SAP EWM project implementation.
• Fluent in Spanish speaking.
• Experience in an integrated environment of EWM with automated systems such as ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers, etc.
• Experience in an integrated environment of EWM with MES and S4 modules such as Manufacturing and Quality Management.
• Knowledge of Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation.
• Knowledge of WM areas: WM Master Data, Inbound / Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry and RF units.
• Knowledge of EWM areas:
  Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration, Kitting, Cold chain management, etc.
• Knowledge of integration aspects with other modules SD, MM, PP, and QM.
• Understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
• Ability to understand business requirements from users and prepare requirement documents, functional specifications.
• Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements and experience working in a highly regulated environment.
• Awareness of release governance processes and experience with incident management tools and testing tools.
• Experience resolving post‑go‑live critical issues until stabilization.
• Experience working in an environment utilizing non‑ECC systems like MES, WES using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST, etc.
• Basic understanding of custom code and basic debugging skills.
• Support work across multiple shifts, including night and weekend shifts.

• EWM Certified.
• ABAP debugging knowledge.
• Knowledge in S4 modules like MM, SD, TM, PP, and QM.
• Knowledge in integration of S4 with other systems such as MES.
