Overview

Transportation Spc - Portuguese, CENTRAL OPERATIONS. NOC (Network Operations Center) is the central command and control center for Transportation Execution across the Amazon Supply Chain network, supporting multiple geographies like NA, India and EU. It ensures timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from FCs to carrier hubs. In case of exceptions, NOC resolves issues and informs stakeholders.

The role involves problem solving, monitoring network data, and proposing process changes to streamline operations. This position is based in Central Operations, part of NOC, serving as the single point of contact for managing route plans, scheduling and payments for last-mile stations for LATAM and AMET regions.

In this role, the candidate will work with business and operations teams to solve customer escalations, analyze historic results, and initiate programs in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. The candidate will drive improvements to visibility tools, methods, and processes to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data for internal and external partners. The successful candidate must show ownership on customer issues and proactively initiate SOPs and process changes as required.

The individual should be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate superb communication and customer-relationship skills. They should advocate for customers to stakeholders and drive simple, scalable solutions with strong project-management skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communication with internal customers (CS, MM, LM, FC, Trans Program, HR).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to create compelling messaging and present complex information clearly.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills.
• Demonstrated leadership with a bias toward action, supporting a culture of ownership and learning.
• Skilled in collaborative management with clear formal and informal communication with remote and local management teams.
• Strong understanding of process improvement technique.
• Communication in PORTUGUESE & ENGLISH with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
• Understand execution and daily production goals.
• Review and update SOPs as required; assist with execution duties, training associates and verifying SOP compliance.
• Handle incoming work requests within standard service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide direction utilizing independent judgment.
• Conduct regular audits with associates for engagement and standard work adherence.
• Assist in shift execution with shift managers.
• Work a flexible schedule as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays.

• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Speak, write, and read fluently in Portuguese
• B1 or B2 certification in Portuguese

• Experience with SQL
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
