Overview
This role focuses on guiding teams in agile practices within a SAFe environment. The Scrum Master facilitates the Scrum framework, removes impediments, and promotes continuous improvement to deliver high‑quality products efficiently.
Responsibilities- Facilitate the Scrum framework (SAFe) and ensure the development team follows its principles and practices.
- Remove impediments, foster collaboration, and promote continuous improvement to enhance the team’s performance and productivity.
- Work closely with Application Responsible (ARs) and technical leads on various applications.
- Propose innovative, scalable solutions that minimize operational and delivery risk.
- Lead system enhancements and defect analysis for projects.
- Communicate highly technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
- Prepare documentation on user requirements specification, functional specification, and user guide.
- Coordinate with users, internal teams, and vendors for project management, SIT, user training, UAT, and production releases.
- Manage stakeholder and requirement clarifications to eliminate ambiguity and conduct impact analysis.
- Document and escalates change logs to Application Responsible and IT Service Management Owners.
- Collaborate with dev and testing teams for requirement clarification, functional solution design, and data mapping.
- Manage stakeholder engagement (internal and external, finance, business change engineers, project managers) and drive IT delivery.
- Analyse requirements, estimate efforts, plan timelines, and manage progress.
- Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce guidelines, and challenge status‑quo.
- Plan and oversee business‑management roll‑out activities with Product Owner and end users.
- Work with Product Owners for stakeholder management and user training.
- Minimum 5 years of IT delivery lead experience focused on the banking domain.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience designing technical solutions.
- Experience with large complex matrix team structures.
- Proven experience leading requirement analysis and impact analysis for large complex projects.
- Solid computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object‑oriented design).
- Working experience with SDLC and Agile methodology (SAFe preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Self‑driven, highly motivated, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- High quality standards and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concurrent priorities with business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience with Scrum and/or Extreme Programming.
- Experience with TDD, CI/CD, or Dev Ops best practices.
- Proficiency in documenting change logs and risk mitigation.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non‑technical audience.
