PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

To update and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other systems supported by the colleague resources (CR) team ensuring data integrity and process quality, supporting new releases, providing application administration, participating in functional testing for upgrades and implementations, and performing data analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Defines and shapes the business process architecture within the defined areas of responsibility.
  • Acts as a liaison on HRIS configurations; combines proficiency in the systems and solutions with an understanding of the functional CR processes.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains simple to complex Workday reports including matrix, trended, and composite reports utilizing Workday report writer; develops new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality.
  • Delivers meaningful metrics, trends, and analytical insights via Workday reporting; prepares reports, graphs, charts, analysis, and statistics in support of CR operations.
  • Translates business requirements through analysis and design into functional solutions.
  • Researches and analyzes data to identify trends, uncover data discrepancies, find potential opportunities, and partnership areas with internal stakeholders, and coordinates training and answers stakeholder queries.
  • Performs system administration through group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research and reports on data discrepancies.
  • Engages regularly with the Workday online community, submits brainstorms, and keeps CR leadership up to date on relevant information.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Experience Five (5) years of related experience including three (3) years of experience with database migration and/or integration and large-scale, complex datasets with an emphasis on data reporting and analytics preferably in business operations or human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience in Workday administration and creating custom reports and troubleshooting in Workday preferred.
  • Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of data mining and creating/optimizing operational analytics and data models; SQL preferred
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of human resource administration
  • Strong understanding of systems administration, Workday, and related HRIS Basic understanding of Service Now and case management
  • Strong Visio, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formula and macro skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Analytical, business, process, and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced enviroment and adapt to frequent change
  • Ability to work creatively and analitically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
